Sign up and create your workspace
Signing up takes one form: SellerTiger either creates a new company workspace for you (on the Free plan) or adds you to your company's existing workspace. Which one happens depends on your email address and on whether you have an invite code.
Create your account
- On the sign-in page, click Sign up (under No account yet?).
- Fill in Your name and pick a Language (中文, English or ไทย — you can change it later).
- If your company sent you a code or link, paste it into Invite code (optional). A whole invite link works too.
- Enter your Work email. A hint under the field tells you what will happen (see the next section).
- Enter Company / store name — this becomes the name of your new workspace. The field is hidden when you are joining an existing team.
- Phone (optional), then a Password: at least 10 characters with both letters and digits.
- Tick I agree to the Terms and Privacy Policy and click Create account.
If everything is in order you go straight to the Home page. If your account needs approval first, you see a waiting screen instead.
Which workspace you land in
SellerTiger decides in this order:
| Your situation | What happens |
|---|---|
| You entered a valid invite code | You join that workspace with the role on the invite. Depending on the invite you can start right away, or you wait for the founder to approve. |
Your email is on a company domain that already has a workspace (for example name@yourcompany.com) | You join that company's team as a member, after an admin approves. The hint reads "… is a company domain: you'll join that team after an admin approves". |
| Anything else | A new company workspace is created, you become its founder, and it starts on the Free plan. |
How the company domain is set: when the first person signs up with an address on their own company domain, the new workspace remembers that domain. Colleagues who sign up later with the same domain are routed to it automatically. Free mailboxes such as Gmail, Outlook, Yahoo or iCloud never auto-join anyone — each of those sign-ups creates its own workspace unless an invite code is used.
Tip: If a colleague should join your workspace but uses a personal email, send them an invite link (Settings → Accounts → Invite members). See "Team members, roles and permissions".
Sign in with Google or Lark
Continue with Google and Continue with Lark appear on both the sign-in and sign-up pages. They follow the same rules as the form above: an invite code you typed is carried along, a company domain joins that company (pending approval), and anything else creates a new workspace.
- The buttons only work once an administrator has configured that sign-in method. Until then they show "An admin needs to configure this sign-in in Settings → API first".
- A workspace created through Google or Lark has no company name yet and is called "your name's store". Rename it in Settings → Company.
- Already have a password account? You can link Google or Lark to it later in Settings → Profile, then use one-click sign-in.
Waiting for approval
When you join through a company email, or through an invite that requires approval, you see Waiting for the founder's approval. Your account exists, and the company's admins get a notification.
- Admins approve new people in Settings → Accounts, in the Waiting for approval section, and choose their role there.
- Once approved, sign in with the same email. Trying earlier shows "Your account is waiting for admin approval".
- If the team has used all its seats, approval is blocked until a seat is freed or the plan is upgraded.
You start on the Free plan
Every new workspace starts on the Free plan — no trial, no credit card — and you can upgrade any time.
- Free is permanent: up to 3 people, 1 shop, no AI and no data export. Upgrading unlocks them at once; your data stays the same.
- Additional workspaces you create also start on Free.
- Plans, prices and invoices are in Settings → Subscription (founder only). See "Plans and billing FAQ".
Several workspaces and switching
One login can belong to several company workspaces — for example your own company plus a client's. Each workspace has its own data, members, shops and plan; nothing is shared between them.
- Switch: click the workspace button at the top of the sidebar (your company logo and name). The Company workspaces menu lists every workspace you belong to with its plan; click one to switch. Workspaces where you are still waiting for approval are shown as pending and can't be opened yet.
- Create another: in the same menu choose New company workspace, enter a company or brand name and confirm. You become the founder of the new workspace and SellerTiger switches to it.
- Join another company: open their invite link while signed in and accept; the workspace is added to your menu.
- How many workspaces you can own depends on your plan. If you reach the limit you see "Your plan allows n workspaces; please upgrade".
The founder
The person who creates a workspace is its founder. Each workspace has exactly one founder, who can do everything, including:
- subscription, billing and invoices;
- company settings, the Data Center and mail signatures;
- approving people and deciding the collaboration rules;
- exporting, deleting or restoring the workspace (Settings → Company → Danger zone).
To hand the workspace over, use Settings → Company → Danger zone → Transfer founder…. The new founder takes over immediately and you become a leader.
Troubleshooting
- "That email is already registered" — sign in instead, or use Forgot password? on the sign-in page.
- "This email already has an account: sign in first, then open the invite link to join" — you already use SellerTiger; sign in, then open the invite link to add the company as another workspace.
- "This invite code is not valid" / "has expired" / "was revoked" / "has been used up" — ask the founder for a new invite.
- "The team is full — please contact the founder" — the workspace has no free seats.
- "Sign-up is closed" — new sign-ups are switched off on this SellerTiger installation; ask your administrator for an invite or an account.
Inside SellerTiger, press the headset button to ask the AI assistant or open a support ticket.
