Pack & ship workflow, labels, shortages and SKU mapping
The full pack-and-ship workflow (what the warehouse does every day)
First: SellerTiger arranges the shipment on the platform only for Shopee / TikTok Shop / Lazada shops with "Arrange shipment automatically when marked Processed" switched on. The switch is per shop, off by default, and only the founder can change it. It can be changed in two places (it is the same switch): Data Center → Platform sync settings → Shipping & labels, or Orders → Settings → Platform label connectors. The server's arrange-shipment switch must also be on (a SellerTiger administrator turns it on); while it is off everything is a dry run — the requests are only recorded, the platform is not called. For shops without the switch, "Mark processed", "Mark packed" and "Handed over" only move the order inside SellerTiger; nothing is sent to the platform. Arranging shipment / packing / RTS then still happens in the platform's Seller Center, and the platform only issues its label after that.
Step 0 · Arrange shipment on the platform (by channel)
- Shops with auto-arrange on: nothing extra to do. When you click "Mark processed" in step 1, SellerTiger arranges the shipment on TikTok; packs and sets ready-to-ship (RTS) on Lazada; and on Shopee books the earliest pickup slot Shopee offers for the shop's pickup address. Once the tracking number is there it fetches the platform label. The order window shows the result under "Arrange shipment on the platform": arranged, already arranged on the platform (never arranged twice), dry run (server switch off), or failed with the platform's reason ("Arrange again" retries). When Shopee wants details we can't fill automatically (for example a drop-off branch), nothing is guessed: you're told to arrange that order in Shopee Seller Centre. Once a shop is on, the warehouse must not also arrange that shop through the legacy feed or in Seller Center. An order already arranged on the platform can't simply be moved back from processed; cancel it on the platform first.
- Shops with it off: in Seller Center click "Arrange shipment" (TikTok, Shopee) or "Pack → Ready to ship (RTS)" (Lazada). Then print from SellerTiger and you get the platform's official label (when the label server switch is on and the shop is authorized).
- Manual orders (LINE, phone, shop, wholesale): skip this step; SellerTiger prints its own label.
- Orders with a buyer cancel / refund / return request open can't be marked processed; handle the request on the platform first.
Step 1 · To process: Orders → To process, check items, stock, address and notes → Mark processed; the order moves to "To pack". Restock short orders first, or put them on hold and tell the customer. Step 2 · Pick: in To pack select the batch → print the picking list (sorted by bin) → pick by bin. Step 3 · Pack & verify: open Scan station → Pack & verify, scan the order → scan every item barcode (combos expand to their parts) → print the label and package slip → seal → Mark packed; the order moves to "Ready to ship". A wrong item or quantity is stopped. Step 4 · Hand over to the courier: when the courier arrives open Scan station → Scan to ship, scan each parcel → print the manifest for the courier to sign → Handed over. Manual orders deduct stock here; platform orders deduct stock according to the stock source of truth (see Pushing stock to platforms). Step 5 · Shipped → Delivered: platform orders update through sync; for manual orders click Mark delivered when the customer has it (and "COD collected" when the money comes back).
When something goes wrong
- Canceled after picking or packing: it shows under Exceptions; put the items back on the shelf, then click Items put back.
- Canceled after handover: ask the courier to intercept the parcel and log an after-sale case when it returns.
- "Arrange shipment on TikTok first" when printing: go back to step 0, arrange it on the platform, then print again.
- Packing check in the scan station lists orders packed without a label or scan — look at it before the end of the day.
How fast orders show up: directly connected shops sync every 5 minutes by default (change it per platform to 15 / 30 minutes or hourly in Data Center → Platform sync settings → Orders). Once a Shopee shop's push URL is set, its orders arrive within seconds of a change. Shops not connected directly yet come through the legacy feed (transition), which pulls new orders and status changes every 5 minutes; it can be a few minutes later when another long job is running.
Platform labels first
When you print labels, orders synced directly from Shopee, TikTok Shop and Lazada take the platform's official label first (Shopee: A6 thermal or A4). The platform only issues it after the order is arranged (TikTok, Shopee) or packed / RTS (Lazada), so if it isn't there yet SellerTiger prints our own label and tells you why (not authorized, authorization expired, server switch off, missing package — "arrange shipment on the platform first", platform error). A fetched platform label is kept, so reprints work even after the platform link expires.
Whether a shop can print platform labels is shown in the Platform label column of Orders → Settings → Platform label connectors or Platform sync settings → Shipping & labels:
| You see | Meaning | What to do |
|---|---|---|
| Live | Prints the platform's official label | — |
| Authorized · server switch off (admin turns it on) | The shop's authorization is fine, but the label server switch isn't on yet, so generic labels print | Ask a SellerTiger administrator to turn the label switch on on the server; the shop doesn't need re-authorizing |
| Authorization expired | The shop's token expired | Re-authorize in Settings → Connections; generic labels until then |
| Not connected | The shop isn't connected to the platform API | Authorize the shop first; generic labels until then |
Orders that came through the legacy feed carry only its package ids and use our own label — unless the shop has auto-arrange on: once SellerTiger arranges the order it has the platform package id and fetches the platform label.
Why an order is short
A stuck order shows the reason on each line: SKU not paired (use "Pair SKU" right there) or not enough stock (how many are needed and how many are left when this order's turn comes). "Re-check stock" on the order runs the check again. Shortage totals in the queue strip lists, per SKU, the stuck orders, the pieces they need, stock on hand and what is still missing.
SKU mapping rules
Shop SKUs that differ from yours only by case, spaces, a prefix / suffix or a few characters can be paired by a rule: ignore case, ignore spaces, ignore characters, strip prefix, strip suffix, replace. Use Test to see what a sample code maps to before saving. Every change is logged (who, when, what) and all unpaired codes are re-checked. A result that matches more than one of your SKUs is not paired. Pairings apply in the order center (stock check, picking, packing, scanning).
Packing check
An order cancelled — or with a refund requested — after it was packed is stopped at handover and when scanned. The scan station's Packing check lists orders packed without a printed label or a scan, and handovers in the last 30 days that skipped either.
